However, to add Bluesound to Homekit, You will first need to Set up your Music Device and Connect it to a Stable Internet Source.
Setup Bluesound device for Automation
First, you should set up the Bluetooth device in your home or living area. You can set it up easily because it’s a DIY installation process. If you have any doubts -use the Bluesound manuals for a better understanding. Once you set up the Bluesound devices, You should add it to the network connection.
Setup bluesound wired device for Wifi connection
- If you are using the wired bluesound device -then set up the network using the Ethernet cable. So connect the bluesound player directly to the router by connecting one end of the ethernet cable in the bluesound device and another end with the router.

Control Bluesound to Homekit
Only the AirPlay Compatible Bluesound can be added to Homekit on the Apple Home App. Once you have set up your AirPlay-supported devices, It’s time to add it to the Home app and enable Siri Voice controls. Make sure that you use the Same Internet Connection on your iPhone/iPad and the Bluesound Players.
- Open the Apple Home app and Tap on the + icon to add an accessory.
NOTE: Bluesound devices do not come with a Homekit QR Code, So, you will have to manually add your players on the Apple Home app.
- Click on I Don’t Have a Code or Cannot Scan Option.
- Select your Bluesound Player from the list and Add it.
- Choose Speaker Location >Continue > Add a Name and Save any modifications made.
- Your Bluesound device is now added to the Apple Home app.
Voice commands for Bluesound Homekit using SIRI
