How to Connect Inovelli to Homekit?

Blue Series is powered by Zigbee whereas the White Series is Matter and Thread. Precisely, the Inovelli White Series 2-1, Smart Switch supports Homekit. If you are a user of that Particular Product, You can directly connect Inovelli to Homekit.

NOTE: You can also use the Same Procedure for any other Homekit Compatible Device. i,e – Blue Series Zigbee Devices.

Install the Inovelli White Series Switch

  • First of all, Let us Complete Setting up the Smart Switch.
  • Install the Inovelli White Series 2-1 Smart Switch.
  • Make sure the Switches are wired. So, It can work manually.
  • Once done, You will need to have a Compatible Apple Device.

Connect Inovelli to Homekit on Apple Home 

  • Now, Install the Apple Home App on your Apple Device.

  • Open the App and Tap on the + icon.

  • On the Pop-up notification – Accessory > Tap on Add to Home > Look for your White Series Switch.

  • Select it and Click on Uncertified Accessory> and Then Tap on the Add Anyway Option.
  • Once Inovelli to Homekit on Home app is connected. The LED bar will start pulsing blue.

Connect Inovelli to Homekit

  • Select Location and Name your Switch to Start Accessing Home Automation.

NOTE: Incase, If there is no flashing – Factory Reset your Inovelli Switch and Start the Process all over again.LED will flash Green Light.

THINGS TO REMEMBER:

When you connect Inovelli Switch to Homekit through the Home App. You can change the Switch to ON and OFF. But You cannot change it from ON/OFF to a Dimmer /Vice Versa – You will have to do it manually.
