  • Install and Open the Home App on your Apple Devices.
  • Tap on the + icon and Click on Add Accessory.

  • Choose it and Add your Camera to Homekit.
  • Select Room, Create a Scene, and Rename it as you like.

Using the TaHoma App 

So, Most of the Somfy devices do not have native Homekit Support. To Connect it to Apple Homekit, You must add first it to the TaHoma Switch or Premium box. Follow the below guide to integrate Somfy Homekit. You will be using TWO Different Apps – TaHoma and Home App.

Set up the TaHoma App for Homekit 

  • Install the TaHoma App on your Apple Device. ( Scan the QR Code on Switch or from the App Store- here )
  • Open the App, Tap on the + icon to start.
  • Select your Country > Press Next > Click on TaHoma Switch> Start a new installation.
  • Follow the Onscreen Prompts and Connect the Hub to Power Supply.
  • Enable Bluetooth – Tap Accept or Green tick.
  • Choose a WiFi to connect and Press Next.
  • Once done, Your TaHoma Box is configured. (Update App if required).
  • Create your TaHoma Account and log in to the App.

Connect Somfy to Homekit on TaHoma App

  • Once the app is all set up, Move on with adding your Somfy Device.
  • Click on My Home menu> Tap on Add a Device.
  • Select your Device category and Type of opening.
  • Click on Remote or Switch – if the device you use has it.
  • Therefore, Follow the prompts and Rename to assign a room.
  • On the App home screen, Click on three dots –  More option.
  • Select Third Party Integration and Choose Apple Homekit.
  • Finally, Connecting Somfy to Homekit is done.

In case, the Apple Homekit option is not available, You can connect it through Home App.

Open Home App>Tap + > Add Accessory>Scan QR Code appearing on TaHoma Switch. Select it and Complete the Process.
